KADIFF Appoints Head Of Jury, Zonal , International Coordinators For 8th Edition

Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF) has appointed a head of jury, alongside zonal and international coordinators for its eighth edition.

KADIFF 2025 is scheduled to hold August 26 to 30, in Kaduna State.

The appointment comes a week after the festival’s unveiling of Emmanuel Eyaba as the Festival Director.
In a statement signed by the festival’s Special Assistant, Media and Communications, Ambrose Fadoyin, this week, announced filmmaker and scholar, Charles Okwuowulu as the Head, Board of Jurors, KADIFF 2025. Okwuowulu who is the Head of Theatre and Film Studies at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ebonyi State, and a friend of the festival was chosen for his contributions to the Nigerian and African film space.

He will be assisted by eight other internationally drawn member of the jury, including, Moji Oyetayo (Nigeria), Rabby Bray (Ghana), Professor Atul Marewad (India), Amir Ramses (Egypt), Dr Ahmad S. Bello (Nigeria), Maikudi Umar (Nigeria), Aisha Kyomuhangi (Uganda) and Steph Nora Okere (Nigeria), to judge and recommend winning films across various categories of submissions at the festival.

Fadoyin also released a list of zonal and international coordinators to oversee film submissions and selection from the various regions of the country and abroad.

The zonal coordinators are: Sani Ahmed Kankarofi, Hajiya Wasila Ismail, Mansura Isah and Nura MC Khan (North West); Gambo Usman Kona, Abubakar Mohammed (North East); Agility Onwurah, Umar Ali Yakubu and Edna Jones (North Central); Kandy Umoh (South South); Ben Omage, Newa Weibey (South West), and JP Nwanganga (South East).

Meantime, Zakariya Zaks (India), Princess Faridah Ndausi (Uganda), Mirembe Doreen (Uganda), Patrick Kwezi (Uganda) and Nomi Mzamani (South Africa), makeup the 2025 KADIFF international coordinators.
All members of jurors, local and international coordinators were approved by KADIFF founder and Vice Chairman Nigeria Film Festivals Associations (NFFA), Israel Kashim Audu.
