Business Mogul Donates Houses, N20m To Mark Golden Jubilee Birthday

Top Nigerian business mogul and real estate tycoon, Alhaji Asiwaju Abdukareem Bello, is marking his 50th birthday anniversary (Golden Jubilee) amidst gladness, joy and lots of life stories to tell.

In celebrating the milestone and in appreciation of God’s grace, Alhaji Dr. Bello, the chairman/CEO of Realscope Holdings Ltd, whose 50th birthday comes up on February 5, 2025, has announced the donations of houses to the less-privileged and cash worth N20m to charity.

This is not unusual as he is known for occupying a front row when it comes to philanthropy and humanitarian activities, aiming to improve the lives of individuals and communities.

“Anybody at 50 will definitely have stories and not just one story, so if I want to tell my story, I will be bugging you people. I have stories from childhood, family ties, extended family, having my own family, the challenges, the business, the ventures and adventures, the trajectories from the beginning till the point we are now.

“It’s been ups and downs, sweet and sour. I have experienced life from the two different divides, as a struggling young man, as an adult and so on”, he recounted his journey in the past 50 years during a press conference in Abuja on Thursday heralding the big day.

While acknowledging that the country was passing through a difficult, yet necessary stage, he advised against prophesying negativities in the life of the country, instead advising Nigerians to remain optimistic and remain hopeful that a song of victory will come at last.

“Nigeria is good, Nigeria can be better. There is this word that you keep hearing when you are in America, ‘God bless America’, but here what do we have? People say negative things about Nigeria, we must stop prophesying negatively against Nigeria.

“I have been to America as a matter of fact, I have a Nigeria passport and I also have the American passport. However, there is no place like home. Nigeria may be going through rough times but there is no nation without a problem though, the levels of the problems vary. Nigeria is blessed, we need to come together, join hands and build Nigeria,” he advised.

Dr. Bello also advised young people to remain focused, determined and resilient to actualise their dreams, noting that he is an example of God’s grace, urging people to uphold their integrity and reputation.

“When I came to Abuja, I had no place to sleep but God used people to help me get to where I’m today. It doesn’t matter where you are coming from, where you are headed is the focus. Focus your mind on the goal. The greatest currency any one will have is integrity, you must guard it with your life. Don’t let your integrity leave you , as soon as it leaves you, you are just like a phone without a Sim card in an environment without internet”, he stated.

As he steps to the fifth floor, Dr. Bello promised to focus more on impacting lives, announcing that he will establish a non-governmental organisation with a cardinal focus on giving back to communities.

“I have seen life, my major objective now is to continue to mentor people who look up to me. I want to remain optimistic and hope for the best. I also wish to live healthier, continue to work with positive minds, and prepare for retirement.

“Lastly, I intend to set up my own foundation in order to give back to society. Society has given me so much and I think that it’s time to give back to society,” he assured.
