The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League group stage has ended, setting the stage for the eagerly awaited knockout phase play-off draw on Friday, January 31, at noon CET in Nyon, Switzerland.
Following Wednesday night’s group-stage matches, the teams advancing to the Round of 16, those entering the knockout play-offs, and the eliminated teams have been confirmed.
How the Knockout Phase Play-Off Works:
Top 8 teams advance to the Round of 16.
Teams ranked 9th to 24th will compete in two-legged knockout play-offs for a spot in the last 16.
Seeded teams (9th to 16th) will face unseeded teams (17th to 24th), with seeded teams playing the second leg at home.
