BREAKING: Akpabio Condoles With Gov Namadi Over Loss Of Mother, Son

The president of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, over the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.

In a statement issued to newsmen yesterday in Abuja by his special adviser on media and publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio expressed deep sorrow over the successive losses suffered by the governor’s family.

“I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and your eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi, in a car crash,” Akpabio stated.

He described the tragedy as a “terrible experience,” emphasising the profound grief of losing a mother and a son simultaneously.

The senate president assured Governor Namadi of his solidarity during this trying period.

“My heart goes out to you and your entire family during this challenging time.

“As you navigate this dark period, remember you are not alone. My family, constituents and the entire 10th Senate share your grief, and our thoughts are with you, your family, and Jigawa State.”

Akpabio prayed for divine strength for the grieving family and eternal rest for the deceased. “May the Almighty God grant you the strength and fortitude to bear these painful losses. And may He grant the souls of Mama and Abdulwahab Al-Jannah Firdaus.”
