Africa Military Games Sponsorship Excites ViaDerma

ViaDerma, a pioneering pharmaceutical startup based in the U.S., has made a significant impact at the African Military Games (AMGA 2024) held at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria.
The event saw participation from 44 countries and over 2,000 athletes competing in 19 different sports, including archery, athletics, badminton, football, and karate.

Dedicated to improving healthcare standards and supporting the well-being of military personnel across Africa, ViaDerma not only participated but also served as one of the event sponsors, marking a significant step in its commitment to supporting military personnel throughout the continent.

Christopher Otiko, CEO of ViaDerma, expressed his enthusiasm about the company’s involvement. “Being part of the African Military Games is a great honour and an excellent platform for us to demonstrate the effectiveness of Tetracyte, our flagship wound-healing drug,” said Otiko.
Tetracyte is widely used for treating wounds and infections among African soldiers.

“All branches of the Nigerian military have shown keen interest in using Tetracyte once all necessary approvals are in place,” Otiko added.

The Chairman of the Local Organising Committee of the African Military Games, Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis, expressed appreciation to ViaDerma for supporting the games.
