Agaie Emirate Chief Imam Dies, Bago Mourns
The Chief Imam of Agaie Emirate in Niger State, Sheikh Muhammadu Kudu, is dead.
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago in his message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, extended his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Agaie, Alhaji Yusuf Nuhu, Council members of the Emirate, immediate and extended families of the deceased.
He described the loss as a monumental one, not only to the people of Agaie but Niger State as a whole.
The Governor recounted how the late Chief Imam significantly contributed to ensuring peace and stability and growing Islam in the Emirate within the short time he served as the Chief Imam of Agaie.
He said good memories, especially the deceased’s positive impact on humanity, cannot be forgotten quickly.
Therefore, the governor prayed that Allah would forgive the shortcomings of the late Sheikh Muhammadu Kudu Agaie and admit him into paradise.
He also prayed that Allah would comfort the Emir of Agaie, Emirate Council members, the deceased family and the entire people of Agaie local government area.
