BREAKING: Federal Poly Nasarawa gets acting Rector

Dr Samuel James has been appointed as the acting Rector for Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa.

This is contained in a statement issued by the institution’s acting Director of Information and Publicity, Safina Sabo, on Friday in N asarawa.

Mr Sabo said that the appointment was sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the rector, Dr Abdullahi Alhassan.

She said that the acting rector, who, until his appointment, was the Deputy Rector (Academics), would manage the affairs of the institution until the appointment of a substantive rector.

Mr Sabo further stated that James’ appointment was contained in a letter dated Jan. 23 and signed by the Director, Polytechnic Education and Allied Institutions Department, Dr Ejeh A.U.

Reacting to the development, the acting rector thanked God and the Federal Ministry of Education for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work closely with management and staff members to record remarkable achievement for the institution.
