A coalition of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), under the aegis of Stay Alert Human Rights Awareness Initiative (SAHRAI), has passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu, minister of state for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri and Group Managing Director (GMD) NNPCL, Mele Kyari for their strategic achievements in oil sector.
The group said the reopening of the Warri and Port Harcourt refineries, after many years of abandonment, has earned the administration the trust of Nigerians.
They expressed hope that coming onstream of the refineries will lead to reduction in fuel price.
The executive director of SAHRAI, Amb. Larry Onah, in a statement, said the “Coalition of Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) led by Stay Alert Human Rights Awareness Initiative passes a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and GMD NNPCL led by Mele Kyari for their strategic and laudable Achievement in oil sector.
