The roads which are about seven point five kilometers include Rainbow Net, Mgbuka, Amanator, Amaesi and St. Peter’s roads have drainage system on both sides while earth work is on going .
Speaking to the ABS, the chairman Ugwuagba landlord Association, Chief Chiemelie Nduka highlighted the untold hardship the residents were passing through before on the roads, recounting series of self-help efforts of the residents of the area to ensure that the place is accessible and motorable before the intervention of Governor Soludo which according to him, has given the people a sense of belonging.
Chief Nduka who thanked Governor Soludo for answering the distress call of Ugwuagba people, prayed God to bless him.
On his part, a patron, Ugwuagba landlord Association Obosi, Sir Noble Anuebunwa thanked Governor Soludo for the massive road construction work going on simultaneously in Ugwuagba community, adding that no Governor has ever remember them.

Chief Emmanuel Uzoechi, the Works Chairman of the community Mr. Amaechi Egbunonu and the Financial Secretary of the Association Dr. Lawrence Machebe regretted that Ugwuagba community has been a gazetted layout by the government for the past thirty-two years without good roads as no Governor has ever visited them except Governor Soludo which according to them resulted in constructing the roads, noting that work is going on smoothly on all the roads while the contractors handling the projects are working according to specifications and on steady pace.
Some of the market women at the area which include Mrs. Chinwendu Egwutuigbo, Mrs. Cathrine Nwigwe and Mrs. Theresa Udealor, appreciated Governor Soludo for giving the roads a face lift while thanking the chairman of their community Chief Nduka who attracted government presence to the plate and prayed God to bless him.
The supervisor of the construction firm handling the projects Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim promised that if rain subsides, the work will be completed in the next three months, commending the cooperation and support of the residents of Ugwuagba, adding that the drainage channels of the roads are at seventy percent completion…..CONTINUE READING
