Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry sends an important message to couples on not indirectly pushing one another into temptation in a sermon titled, “Believers’ Vigilance And Victory Over Temptation” at their Monday Bible Study program.
According to him, “Talking about husband and wife not to defraud one another, the husband has a right to the wife and vice-versa. When the wife is always complaining that she is tired, weak, she is defrauding her husband.”
“Or it is the husband always complaining about age and always defrauding the wife until she is pushed outside to go out to sin. If she falls, she has yielded to temptation. And when she comes to tell you what happened to her, you jump to go and report to the Pastor, whereas, you caused it.”
He then said, “The word of God is very clear that couples must not defraud one another except by consent to engage in spiritual exercises, after which they will come together again, so that the devil will not tempt them for being inconsistent.” View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
He further said, “Couples going apart and being more familiar with men and women outside the home. When those men outside calls you, you will not be tired, you can go on and on, but when your husband, the closest person the Lord gave you that you will fulfill His will with.”
He added, “The woman is always tired, but when other men call her, she is not. They can talk for hours on phone and even use zoom. You will find the woman laughing even though she always complained of tiredness to her husband. It is the devil behind that. May God deliver you from the devil, he will not get you.”
