Chefs don’t have to completely give up seasoning cubes, but they should use much less of them than they are accustomed to.

Second, artificial spices: today’s shoppers can choose from a wide variety of both natural and artificial spices. It’s important to keep in mind that not all spices are safe for human consumption if you’re a frequent user of spices in the kitchen.
