Emeka Ezeh, the Head of Corporate Communications at EEDC, issued a statement on Thursday in Awka, explaining that the system collapse occurred at 12:40 am earlier today. This unfortunate event has led to a disruption in the supply of electricity across the network.

As a result of this situation, all our interface TCN stations are currently without power, and we are unable to provide service to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States.
