Firm Unveils ISI Initiative To Tackle Unemployment, Digital Exclusion

Cerato Integrated Services Limited launched the Individual Systematic Identification (ISI) initiative, a groundbreaking program designed to address the nation’s pressing challenges of unemployment, poverty, and digital exclusion.

Speaking at the launch event, Peter Folajimi Buraimoh, Founder and CEO of e-ISI, described the initiative as a transformative solution to governance and financial inclusion in the country.

“ISI has set the stage for an inclusive digital identity system that promises to revolutionise governance, employment, and financial inclusion in the country,” Buraimoh said.

Central to the ISI initiative is a Virtual Office platform designed to match individuals with jobs suited to their skills.

“The platform also offers opportunities for reskilling and upskilling, bridging gaps between opportunities and accessibility.

Additionally, the initiative incorporates decentralised financial (DeFi) technologies to integrate unbanked populations into the economic ecosystem, empowering marginalised communities to participate in the economy.

A significant milestone of the ISI project is the recruitment of over 60 tech volunteers from across Nigeria

“These professionals are driving the development and sustainability of the digital ecosystem, fostering job creation, improving digital literacy, and connecting Nigerians to opportunities in the growing digital economy.

However, challenges persist, particularly in rural areas with limited internet access and low awareness of the initiative’s benefits.

“In response, the program plans to expand its training programs, strengthen outreach efforts, and collaborate with public and private stakeholders to enhance its nationwide impact.

The ISI initiative is a technological solution and a vision for a more inclusive Nigeria. By harnessing technology and the dedication of its citizens, the program aspires to position the country as a leader in digital transformation.

“We invite all Nigerians—government officials, businesses, and individuals—to join hands supporting this transformative initiative,” Buraimoh said. “Together, we can build a future where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive in a connected and inclusive Nigeria.”
