According to Vanguard, Pastor Noah Abraham, the controversial founder of Christ High Commission Church in Ekiti State, was re-arrested for more serious offenses. He gained notoriety the previous year when it was reported that he stole N310,000 from churchgoers in exchange for admission to paradise. The captives were said to be the pastor’s own children, who were allegedly manipulated and turned against their parents through hypnosis. Distraught parents, fellow church members, and Pastor Abraham’s legal wife gathered at the Ekiti State Police Command, urging government and authorities to intervene and free their loved ones from the pastor’s control.

According to the victims, the pastor compelled children to leave school, and a 27-year-old man was required to quit his job and held at the camp without a clear assignment.

The pastor’s arrest highlights a sequence of purported criminal activities, emphasizing the need for prompt intervention and legal measures against those who exploit and harm others while posing as religious leaders.

In an interview with reporters, Mr. Dare Ikuenayo, the church choir coordinator, verified that the pastor took away and fathered a child with the mother of his three kids.

He mentioned, “I became a member of the church in Kabba, Kogi State. However, one day, the pastor informed me that my wife had a prophetic gift. He suggested that I should permit her to stay with him for a month to work for God, and I agreed.”

“But suddenly I noticed that my wife was not even willing to see or talk to me. While I was trying to raise eyebrows, the pastor announced in the church that he had taken my wife and no one could take her from him.
