Iluyomade, Ex-RCCG Pastor, Launches New Ministry in Lagos
Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, previously associated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) City of David Parish, has launched a new ministry named “The Family Fellowship” in Lagos.
Iluyomade’s choice to establish the fellowship follows his suspension from the RCCG in June 2024, which stemmed from the controversy surrounding his wife, Pastor Siju’s, 60th birthday celebration. The event, which took place shortly after the unfortunate death of prominent church member Herbert Wigwe, faced considerable backlash because of its timing.
The first “The Family Fellowship” service was held at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, and was characterised by jubilant dancing and festivities.
Inviting the community to be part of the fellowship, Iluyomade promised attendees a fulfilling and enriching experience.
He said on Instagram, “The Family Fellowship cordially invites you. Join us tomorrow at the Civic Centre for a special occasion in the Lord’s presence. It promises to be a wonderful experience.”
