Dino Melaye reportedly posted a video on his Instagram profile on Friday that emphasized perseverance and positivism, according to Punch.

While he was addressing his supporters across the country, and in Kogi State specifically, he said, “My fellow countrymen and women, particularly great Kogites. My name is Sen. Dino Melaye, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded November 11 governorship election. Just to tell you that I have resumed in my office and life is continuous, simple.”

Further talking, he said, “I always laugh away my sorrow. I always dance away my worries, and I am a happy soul and will continue to be happy.Just to encourage all my supporters, and lovers all over the country and in Kogi that please do not be disenchanted, disillusioned, do not be perturbed, do not be disturbed, just carry on because, at the end of the day, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.”

Dino Melaye also encouraged his supporters to be emboldened, strong, determined and be resolute because they will soon overcome their challenges, as he alleged that it is not the end of the battle but, he is not going to get worried.

More information made it known that following the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared Usman Ododo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, as the winner.

Ododo secured a total of 446,238 votes, defeating his opponents, Ajaka and Melaye, who polled 259,052 votes and 46,262 votes, respectively.
