He arrive at his private residence in Ibadan, Oyo State capital and will be resuming official duties in Ondo State in the coming days.
According to a reliable source, Governor Akeredolu will meet with members of the Ondo State Executive Council in Ibadan tomorrow to discuss with them ahead of his resumption.
AN24 gathered that some of his close associates and government officials had put necessary plans in place to receive Governor Akeredolu both in Ibadan and Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
Governor Akeredolu has been away from Ondo State for the past three months, undergoing medical treatment abroad.
With his return, he is expected to take over the affairs of Ondo State from his Deputy, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who has been serving as Acting Governor since Akeredolu traveled out of the country for a medical trip.
Akeredolu as the political leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State is expected to rally party members and provide a clear direction for the APC’s future ahead of the 2024 governorship election….CONTINUE READING
