Nigerians have slammed Force Public Relations Officer, Abuja Headquarters, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi for saying that curses and insults are criminal offences.
He made the claim on X on Friday.
He noted that raining direct curses online, constitutes cyber bullying, which according to him is defamation.
“Raining direct curses on someone online is cyberbullying, not expression of freedom or criticism. And cyberbullying, which is even different from defamation, is a criminal offence and punishable. Be guided,” he stated.

A wrongful enforcement of the law is an indication of a poor understanding of the law. Return to the classroom.

You now generate laws now??

That is not democracy!!! What you have done to that lady is political persecution. There is not one single individual who hasn't cursed online. If i point you to apc supporters who are insulting, can you dare make an arrest?

With all due respect to human beings, you are an idiot sir.
Now that this is clear, can you charge Olamide Thomas to court, or do you want thunder to fire you this night, Olumuyiwa Adejobi?

You mean I cannot ask Ogun the god of iron to intervene and strike those who are intentionally using the instrument of the State to physically assault and infringe on my fundamental right? Is that a joke?
