JUST-IN: Zaire-Emery Doubtful for PSG’s Champions League Tie

Warren Zaire-Emery is a doubt for Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League last-16 play-off next month after sustaining an injury in Wednesday’s crucial win over Stuttgart.

Paris Saint-Germain F.C confirmed on Thursday that the 18-year-old sprained his left ankle during the 4-1 victory, which secured their place in the play-off round, and will be sidelined for several weeks.

“The length of (Zaire-Emery’s) absence will depend on how the injury progresses over the coming days,” PSG stated.

Multiple reports suggest the French international could be out for at least three weeks.

PSG will face either Monaco or Brest in the two-legged tie, with the first legs set for February 11 and February 12 , followed by the return fixtures a week later.
