Former Manchester United striker, Louis Saha, has advised the club to re-sign French midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba will complete his doping suspension in March this year.
The former France International who spoke to spaceportsweden.com (via Goal), said if his compatriot was available, the Red Devils must not waste time signing him.
French midfielder, Pogba has spent two terms at Old Trafford, first was when he graduated from their academy.
He made the Red Devils’ first team in 2011 before leaving for Juventus and again from 2016 to 2022.
He endured a difficult relationship with manager Jose Mourinho in his second term.
Across those two terms, the Frenchman featured in 233 games in all competitions and scored 39 goals and provided 48 assists.
He seemed to be getting back to form at Juventus before the doping suspension in September 2023.
“I think it’s gonna be an interesting few days for Paul as the transfer window comes to a close. He needs a club, that’s for sure,” Saha said.
“He’s on the free, so in many ways that takes a bit of the pressure off him because he can sign for a club when the transfer window closes but from Paul’s perspective, he will want to get onto the grass with his new teammates in training as quickly as possible.
“But if Paul Pogba is available, believe me, I would love to see him back at United at this moment in time. That’s how good he is. When he is fit and firing, he could go into the Manchester United squad and become one of the best players quite quickly,” he added.
