NCAA Assures Nigerians of Safe Airspace After Incident

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has reassured Nigerians that the country’s airspace remains safe despite a recent aircraft incident at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.

NCAA Acting Director-General, Captain Chris Najomo, gave the assurance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, stating, “The Nigerian airspace is very safe, I can assure you.”

A Max Air aircraft crash-landed late Tuesday night after losing its nose landing gear tyre while arriving from Lagos. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.

Max Air confirmed the incident in a statement, assuring the public of ongoing investigations.
