Ajaero, who disclosed this on messaging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday, said the widows narrated current hardship being faced by them as a result of the present situation in the country.
He said : “On Friday, 28 July 2023, I received the representatives of the Benue State Peculiar Widows Forum in my office.
We had some robust discussions and they expressed serious disaffection with the hardship and the increasing suffering occasioned by the increase in pump price of PMS.
They narrated their ordeal in the hands of armed bandits which has made it difficult for them to continue farming while most of them have lost their farmlands to the attendant insecurity
They urged the NLC to come to their rescue and expressed their full support to the Wednesday August 2 Nationwide Mass Action.”
