Tinubu: I know him well, I have signed a letter requesting an audience with him – Bashir Dalhatu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president, and Kashim Shettima, the vice president, have been contacted by Bashir Dalhatu, SAN, chairman of the board of trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum, in an open interview on Arise TV. He clarified that the government has just recently taken office. He said that it is concerning that the media has been reporting on how people in the North are responding to the recent occurrences.

He said, “This leadership, we have just come into office recently. In person, I know the vice president (Shettima) quite well, and I know the president (Tinubu) well and I’m sure it will not be a problem for me to talk to either of them. I have signed a letter requesting an audience with the president (Tinubu). So that the leadership of ACF can have the opportunity to sit and discuss these issues with him. But until now, there have been so many press releases, press conferences, and people voicing their opinion and this has covered the whole of North.”
